Pre Admission Tests

by | Jan 20, 2022

Yesterday I went to the city, to Jefferson, for Pre-Admission Testing for my surgery on Friday.  It was an adventure but I did it and I did it by myself.  With various COVID exposures, I didn’t want to potentially expose someone.  Also, the hospitals are starting to not let guests in so most people were by themselves.

EKG, Blood Work and COVID tests have been completed, after 1.5 hours of waiting.  Tonight I will find out what time to arrive at the hospital to see Dr. Bowen and get this moving forward.  I am not worried about being off chemo the extra time, my numb finger tips and toes are starting to be a real pain in the butt.  Lot’s of things dropping over here for sure.  I am told it should eventually go away but nothing is guaranteed in the medical profession, again prayer and fingers crossed.

Not much more for today, I bet there will be more tomorrow,

Todays gratitude: For close access to excellent facilities for care; a dog who loves to check on me when I am sleeping and for everyone who has brought food.  Last night was most appreciated after a long day in the city.
